There is something deeply satisfying about eating food you’ve grown yourself.
You dont need to be a farmer to grow your own food!
Whether you’re a first-time gardener or someone returning to farming after many years, our team will guide you through every step.
Individuals, families and groups to rent a small plot of land and experience the complete journey – soil preparation, tending, from preparing the soil to harvesting fresh vegetables.
It’s simple.
A minimum rental period of 6 months is designed to allow you to experience the natural growing cycle and grow a wider variety of seasonal produce.
Ankur Community Farming is an opportunity to rent a small patch of land on our campus and grow your own vegetables, herbs, and greens.
You choose what you want to grow, put your hands in the soil, nurture your plants, and eventually harvest what you’ve grown.
Anyone!
Individuals, couples, families, children, friends, schools, and small groups can all participate. You don’t need to be an experienced gardener. In fact, we’d love to introduce people who have never grown anything before to the joy of growing their own food.
Absolutely—and we’d love them to. Community Farming is a wonderful way for children to understand where their food comes from and experience things that can’t be learned from a screen.
They can sow seeds, watch plants grow, learn about insects and soil, and eventually harvest something they helped create.
